Rolling out of bed. Any suggestions for adult side rails?
We are looking into adult side rails to keep my mother in law from rolling out of bed and maybe give her a hand in getting in and out if necessary. She bruised her ribs on her last fall and hasn’t healed completely; she has pain getting up because of the effort. She sleeps in a queen bed and weighs about 135 lbs. Can anyone recommend what side rails we should get?
Side rails really helped my husband who tends to sleep right on the edge of the bed. He fell a couple of times and that’s when we decided to get them. They’re a great idea, especially because they’re adjustable. You can make the rail a little longer while the person is asleep, and slide it back to a shorter length to make it easy to get in and out of the bed and at the same time give added support while doing so. All in all, they worked like a charm.
